§ 24-17. Encroachments and obstructions.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to erect or maintain any building or construction in or upon any alley, street or avenue within the corporate limits of the Town of Cheverly without permission of the mayor and town council. Any person or persons violating this paragraph is guilty of a misdemeanor. Each day that such building or obstruction remains on the street after notification by the duly appointed officer or representative of the mayor and town council shall constitute a separate violation.
