§ 26-16. Tampering, unauthorized connections.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person, without the consent of the franchisee, to willfully tamper with, remove or injure cables, wires or equipment authorized under a franchise granted by this chapter.

(b)

It shall be unlawful for any person to make or use any unauthorized connection, whether physically, electrically, acoustically, inductively or otherwise, with any part of a franchise CATV system within the town of the purpose of enabling himself or others to receive any CATV signal without authorization of the franchisee or the town.
