§ 26-19. Delegation of authority, rules for enforcement and administration.

  • (a)

    The mayor and council shall have a right by resolution to delegate any of its authority to any town official, or to a commission to be named by the mayor with the approval of the council, to enforce or administer any of the provisions of this chapter.

    (b)

    The mayor and council, or any town official or commission delegated authority under this chapter, shall have the authority to issue such reasonable rules and regulations as may be necessary for the implementation, enforcement and administration of this chapter and any franchise granted hereunder.
