§ 2-1. Policy.

It is the policy of the town to allow absentee voting in order to make participation in town elections available to as many voters as possible who have qualified to vote in town elections, provided the absentee ballot is received prior to the close of the polls on election day.

Ord. No. O-2-11, adopted Feb. 10, 2011, repealed § 2-1 in its entirety and enacted a new § 2-1 as set out herein. The former § 2-1 pertained to qualifications and derived from Ord. No. 6-77, adopted June 9, 1977.
